    Ignoring the personal bits.

At 2000rpm your combustion is all over in 15 milliseconds. Your 300 readings/second gives you a max of five readings which will be heavily damped by the response of the probe.
It's still better than nothing, but it's going to miss the peak by a long shot.

Diesel combustion is a lot hotter than the readings you have. About 1000C hotter.

And you know the make model and specs of the unit I was using YES??

Whatever dougal, it did what i wanted it to do and that was to show that there was no real difference in CCT with or with out LPG fumigation.

And you win you know everything and all diesel fumigated vehicles are in reality only running on imagination.
You have been proved wrong so many times SO MANY TIMES and before i say what i really think i will go look for the block function.

Bloody hell chill out you guys, this thread is very interesting but the two of you are just at each others throats. Drop the BS and get on with the tech stuff because there are others on here that do find this very informitive.

You can't leave yet you still have data to post on here of temps and usage figures, can't get away that easily.

You two need to stop commenting on each others posts.

Dougle for all we know you may be right, but let the people who actualy have the product fitted post there data without question, it has to be relavent as it works and some boffin has done the home work and put into production. In life we come accross things that we can't explain, ie gravity you can't see it but we see the effects, just like the guys who have the systems fitted, you cant understand how it works but it just dose.

Don't take this as a negative post as I like reading your posts as it makes you think deeper into things, and I have often found them informative, mainly turbo related subjects.

So lets look at the facts the owners are producing

I get other newsletters and the like from companies like BorgWarner who seem to have grabbed the turbo market for many of the newer diesel engines.

It is clear that engine manufacturers are committing a lot of $$$ to research and it is showing up in the new diesel engines.

But I can not recall seeing any examples or interest in lpg diesel from engine makers. If anyone has a list of engine manufactures who have embraced LPG diesel, I would be interested in seeing it.

Take from that whatever you like!
The fact manufacturers haven't made LPG/Diesel vehicles doesn't mean anything, they will make what they make the most money from not what works best.Should we assume that fitting bigger intercoolers, mandrel exhausts, chipping etc is bad as it is not done in the factory?.I don't need try hards posting up impressive maths equations telling me LPG is going to destroy my engine,my Tdi has had D/gas for almost 30,000k's and with well over 400,000k's under it's wheels it drives better now than it ever has, thats all the proof I need. Umm.
Larger intercoolers, larger exhausts and higher output engine versions do come straight from the factory. They do it all the time producing sports versions.
BMW has a passenger car diesel running over 42psi boost with a compound turbo system. Straight from the factory.

It's great that you are currently having a positive experience with your fumigation setup. How has your power and fuel economy worked out over that 30,000km?

How has it worked out?,I have no intention of taking it off so it's worked out fine.Economy wise it's all over the place as I do both town and open road driving,in town because of the better ''driveability'' if you get my drift I tend to let it lug around in a higher gear as the torque in my engine was the biggest improvement,I also have run different sized jets to get the best overall balance between power and economy.Just to add my engine has never detonated, never seized a piston, doesn't use oil and in general has never given me any cause for alarm. It has the highest millage of any vehicle I have ever owned and has outlived more jap vehicles that I can remember.
