Masaging a 3" bend to fit the flange.
That model manifold is strange I must say... Never seen one in real life but they look like more of a PITA than the smaller style one...

Don't envy you doing that dump pipe in stainless. Mine was a PITA to do in plain exhaust tube.
Will look good when you're done though

Thanks. Probably a bit flash for the old girl but time I spent some money on her. Had her 15 yrs and shes a keeper.
Got some pipe work done today. Stainless rods in a stick welder.
Stainless exhaust with a stick, well done! Not sure I would even try![]()
Its touch and go. Cant get it too hot or it blows.Still get slag inclusions though, it wouldnt pass for a pro. Alternative was to tack it and take it to town to get done but I think its OK.
I am taking the crossover under the aircleaner. Anyone see any potential problems here?
I have to take the tappet breather off the intake of course as it will be under pressure. I was going to plumb it into the crank case breather setup. Is this what others have done.

Putting the turbo drain into the front cover. I thought it was just tin but no its really thick stamped steel. Found an old hydraulic fitting and silver soldered in a hose tail.
Maybe a problem changing oil filters with that manifold there.
