Inter cooler is easy, Turbo sounds messy and difficult. Tomorrows job![]()
Get someone to hold down the go pedal or use a stick. Check at the pump end if you can get any extra movement .If you are not getting full movement you are wasting your time playing with the fuel screw![]()
That could be my next move, will have to back the throttle stop bolt off first then see if there is any more adjustment in the cable. Had my bro in law floor it and it was hard up on the stop, but that doesn't mean it was foot to the floor.
Adjusted the stop screw on my other motor, there was a heap more to go on the cam. Is this some sort of governor?
Was kind of getting dark so didn't look to hard for smoke, didn't notice anything unusual, only went for a spin around the block, felt the same, was running out of puff, would take of OK then wouldn't get much better.
Maybe mods should move this to a new thread? Going off course
Dougal, I'm curious.
If I read correctly, on page 40 you indicated pre ICooler temps should be about 100C yet Damien was reporting a little more than ambient ie 48-52 with drop of approx 10 on the exit.
Are you saying something like if intercooler is functioning that the increased airflow should cause friction on sensor and therefore increase in temp beyond ambient?
Cheers.
