Do you have the part numbers for the winged sumps? I have found an enthusiastic parts guy at Isuzu Uk but we are struggling to find part numbers.
    According to my information:

The winged sumps were used on Isuzu 4BD1RB and 4BD1RB01 engines supplied to JLA (Jaguar Land Rover Australia). From 1986 Isuzu supplied 4BD1RBG and 4BD1TRBG engines that had wingless sumps.

The part number for the winged sump for both the 4BD1RB and 4BD1RB01 is 511360-5090.

The wingless sump for the 4BD1RBG is 894466-3610, and for the 4BD1TRBG is 894149-2471.

Now compare the wingless sump part number I looked up as 894466-3610 to the sticker in the pic of the wingless sump that Isuzurover posted above, and see that it is written differently in 2 places on the sticker. I'm just saying this as you may need to try similar variations for the winged sump number I have given.

Does anyone know if pattern parts are available for this engine?

How did you go sourcing a sump cover? I'm looking for a wingless cover, but they are crazy expensive from Isuzu here. ($400).

    Update

    Gentlemen

    I have a winged sump.

Many thanks to all who replied with special thanks to ancient mariner ,Bush 65 for all of their advice and part numbers, offers of similar sumps etc and to yt110 who told me about a winged pump for sale by triumph, this is the one I now have.

    Quick update to what happened.

I had a helpful guy at Isuzu search the Isuzu parts computer using the info provided here by AULRO members. He told me the original winged sump was no longer available and Isuzu were showing no outstanding stock anywhere in the world. The wingless sump was showing four on the Isuzu system, all located in Japan. The cost was higher than mentioned above.
With the help of everyone who replied we had the correct numbers etc but the availability was limited.
I then recieved a PM from yt110 telling me Triumph spares had a winged pump for sale. I contacted them and after several e-mails and a phone call I bought the sump.
It arrived in the UK on Monday this week and is going to extend the old girls life by another 30 years I hope.

So Many many thanks to all who helped and advised my search of the world for parts for an old lady.

Yeah the winged sump doesn't give (much?) clearance for the PTO winch shaft so the wingless type is fitted instead.
