    I spun mine around the other way, a much better fit now. I had to blank off the inlet and make another, no big deal though

    Hey guys,
    Can you post pics of your final air filter setups?

    I'm still using the original donaldson blanked and reversed, and soon as hit boost the air flow indicator trips. Im running 21psi intercooled on the TD04HL-19T turbo perentie. Could it have contributed to early failure of the last turbo (I've since had it rebuilt).

    And how bad is this restriction anyway, what is it effecting performance-wise if the engine is still being force-fed 21psi of air anyway? Is it effecting spool possibly? is it to much resistance for the turbo?

    What can be done to fix it? I'd like to fit a snorkle at some stage, whats my best option, if possible to use the existing mounting location?

    mine ended up like this. 28psi, measured after the intercooler with the same turbo as you
