    Rego

Rego on Tuesday might have to get some personalised plates as the ones supplied have the letters TSV and anyone up this way knows it stands for the rsole of the world. The gearbox was giving me the ****s so didn`t get to give it a decent run >turns out the two CS unbrakos holding the bearing plate had come loose A stronger grade of locktite and a brace back down to the top of the box. At just over 100k in 5th would have to be the quietest Isuzu 110 on the road. The max boost pressure tops out at about 5 psi might have to do something about that and should go well when sorted

A bit of an update been extremely cold about 16 When first starting no glow plugs it runs roughly with enough white smoke to do a battle ship proud.I have a switch on the dash which advances the timing 10 degrees with this switch on no smoke and runs smooth no glow plugs needed. Just wondering if I hook up nitrious oxide to the same switch will it excelerate or detonate

How the hell do you have a switch that advances the timing? Magic?

The 4he1 is usually controlled by an ECU not used in my case but the solenoid for the timing advance built into the pump I can use with a switch Interesting it also lowers the idle revs slightly.Just gotta check the bank ballance before I try it at full revs

The inlet air restriction problem turned out a bit simpler than I imagined I was running a pre cleaner and the restriction indicator was tripping on any short run changed to a scoop. Problem solved Will swap around to suit conditions I have a vacuum gauge coming and will post some findings between the two both are 88mm

Took my spare FIP down to the diesel mob to ask how to get some more fuel out of it Bugger seems it is not possible with that style of pump Upside is probably wont loose my licence. I will seek another opinion or 6 as I don't think that the pump cant be modded

Hi lokka. I imagine the performance is similar to a fueled up 4bd1t With 3.0 diffs it has fairly long legs and have no trouble passing at 100k plus which pleases the navigator no end (dog) I have just replaced the EGT gauge with a digital one with some interesting info pre start up both EGT and engine protection are within 1 degree.Just after start up temp climbs about 10 deg in 10 seconds just by turning on AC so would probably have a significant impact on max EGT
