I chatted to the grays auction bloke on site at the Adelaide inspection yard last time they had a frontline machinery auction on. Hasn't happened yet, but some vehicles have been tarted up with brand new bits, or treats like 2 spare tyres or 3 jerries, etc.
I think it would be a good selling point to throw in for example a full set of filters for the vehicle's first service, but there's been nothing of that kind.

Do people understand that a perentie retrofitted with rear disks will have to have an engineers certificate for the brake modification?
No such thing as a type approval at the moment.

No, but the seller of one of the pretendies on carsales ( 1989 Land Rover 110 Perentie ) told me that they forked a "new" (reco I guess) g/box and t/c into the rear of his after he picked it up and went back and to complain that there was g/box noise.
