Is there a difference between the MXA and MSA flanges?

To help with your GB decision If you use a MXA you will have to use a MSA bellhousing and remachine the bearing bore to the larger spacing I am a bit confused here (nothing unusual) Doesn't the 6x6 use an integeral GB -TC and will the shaft be able to be used seeing is to fit a 175mm AC

You'se people are all so silly!

Just because the Army Perentie 6x6 uses a LT95 doesn't mean all Land Rover 6x6 use the same system.

Mine is a Defender (U.K. factory) 6x6 using an SMC through drive intermediate axle. It uses a standard Defender transmission with LT230 (it was a V8 Defender).

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

If there is any interest I will post up the steps of fabricating a trouble free adapter housing LT230 to MSA or MXA I am building as time permits 175 mm long so tail shafts are standard

Thanks AM, that would be excellent, as you can see from the "thanks" already there. Look forward to seeing it.

I have been assured mine will be trouble free now, a tad heavier on the welding side and I doubt I would have had any trouble at all. Hanging to get it back on the road again
