    Td5 auto has lock up in 3rd too.....

    given that final drive is 1:1 anf the lt95 gears are .996? i was thinking the 33" would be ok given that its the same ratios as the lt95

    Yes but only when cruising on the flat with little load. An unlocked TC is so wasteful and generates excessive heat. Tha Alison is a great trans but really not 100%suited to this application IMO.the later Allison is electronic and has a tc lock but way bigger transmission. May as well use a 4hp24e.
