    Thanks mate,
I just wish I thought to record it when it had just 2 foot of header pipe on it after I fitted the donk. The wistle was very prominent.

I have the 300TDi with both exhausts cut out. The turbo is very proud! even at idle you can hear it and it sounds excellent under load!!!

I'm with you James. All I can hear from these Isuzus (Isuzii??) is the clatter of chop-sticks...

    300Tdis RULE!!

PS: OK, I am just a little bit jealous of the torque of JC's turbo-ed Isuzu 3.9...

Yeah maybe, but your 300tdis would have broken down long before the izoozoo will

Yeap i will agree that a turbo in a Izusu diesel would have a far better punch then the 300tdi but do they get the same economy?

Also i am happy with the fairly quiet 300 with a nice note after i removed both exhausts.

And yes the 300 will die before the izusu and prob have more problems along the way but how about the 3.0 Izusu that they put in the Jackaroo in 98 they have plenty of power economy and are apparently very reliable?!

I think Isuzu would like to forget about that engine. Something about injector seals and blocks cracking near #4 cylinder? Someone I work with had both those problems and I'm led to believe it was fairly common, although as with most things you often only hear the worst, so I could be very wrong.

Not shore about the economy of a turbo'd isuzu but our N/A gets around 9/10 Ltrs per 100
Not shore about the 3ltr but the 2.8ltr's in the rodeo (and probably in the jack) seem to be reliable and powerful
