Yeah, passenger side of the engine block, just above the sump. The engine type is cast into the block......easy to see, fairly big letters.
The 4BB1 is 3.6 litres. Same block as the 4BD1(T), but shorter stroke and possibly other minor differences. I've heard the 4BB1 referred to as the 'High Output' version because it revs a bit higher due to the shorter stroke.
My turbo and intercooler take up the space where my A/C used to be, so a mild weather trip would suit me too
