As far as i know he 4bd1 is fitted with a 40 amp Nippon Denso and the 4bd1t is a 70 amp hitachi. This is from my manual and agrees with what my engines are fitted with. May change with different years and where the engine came from.

    Part no's

    Nippon-Denso 40amp external reg
    isuzu part no. 5-81200-132-0
    denso part no. 100210-1150

    Hitachi 70amp internal reg
    isuzu part no. 8-94175-448-1
    hitachi part no. LR170-401

These are a pretty standard pattern diesel alternator so are available from a variety of sources, although a lot are 24v.

    Sparkie.

Be like me and BODGE it...^^

I'll see what I can find in the way of a vac pump unit for you. The rodeo ones spoken of here are fairly stable units. I think I've only ever replaced brushes...

I should actually take a look at yours and see what's up with it. It could be wiring...

And I need to pick up my ugly green boats.

The Nippondenso 40 amp ALT was standard on the civilian version. The military 110 has an Hitachi LR170-401 70 amp ALT fitted.
