haha thats awesome.. I'm so going to try that!

My sister used to chew on the window frame of our old Suzuki LJ50v.. infact, you can still see the teeth marks on it. The 2stroke was way too smooth for the hum and chatter..

I'm waiting for my future truck too. Needs a few seals for a roadworthy and obriens are having fun replacing the windscreen. I think first thing I'll do is take it for a spin down the back yard to see if it handles the grassy hills as well as my old P38 with all it's electrickery.

    Gday Pete

yes Zambezi Silver a Land Rover colour. It looked good new. The roof and bonnet have started to go off. I hope to do a respray back to auscam.

I have a 300 tdi defender disc rear. complexity nil, as everything bolts up the same. The Perentie has a PBR booster and master brake set up. Axle cost $500. Then spent a heap on maxi axles and stainless steel sleeve/rebuild of calipers. I hated the drum rear, especially on corrugations and sand.

    regards

I certainly wont get one. no-sir-ee.
Even though they as you say get thrashed they are in really good condition, they are in better nic than most defenders, and parts are replaced with genuine parts some just because it's scheduled, the cars may sit for months with out moving but when the sevice is due parts are still swapped out so basically the old parts have no wear but are thrown out.

I am a mechanic in the army and I wouldn't hestitate at buying one.
