Had it gone into production, would have been the first Holden product to have 4 wheel disc brakes.
I had a drive of it around the grounds at Pagewood plant. The car was visiting for the motor show. Production was planned and it tentatively would have been sold around $3,000. Like many other projects it got dropped from the agenda in the corporate panic following the first Arab oil shock.

Wow .... 4 wheel disc brakes ... If only I could be impressed with that .... My mother had renault 8's and 10's when we were kids... They had 4wheels disc brakes back in 1962 ... Holden did "almost" catch up by the 90's by fitting disc brakes AND ... get this ..... "Radial tuned suspension"

Wow, that's impressive .. They finally had radials tires and suspension "tuned" for it (my father has on old Traction Avant that has radial tires.... Citroen started fitting them in the early 1940's ) so it only took holden about 40years to catch up to the rest of the worlds technology.

Always loved the Miura, probably my all time favourite Super Car.

Also really liked the BMW M1, particularly in full Group V race spec.

That is the Deusenberg "Twenty Grand". A much admired car amongst super wealthy USA collectors. If it was ever sent to auction the auctioneer would be looking to open at eight or ten million.

Here are a few museum Deusenbergs. I have more. Particularly the small fleet owned by the Nethercutt collection and Nethercutt Museum. "Sammy" is a 1970's replica once owned by Sammy Davis Jnr. The museum also has Frank Sinatra's Dual-Ghia Dodge.

Also a 540 M-B from the Reno museum.

I had a Renault 8 back when I was in my 20's,I cut the roof off it and used it as a shooting buggy culling roo's out west, most comfortable shooting I've ever done. Pat

So a dumb question, looking through this thread there is no modern vehicles posted, why can't they build modern cars that are pretty?,another one,the Jag E type is a classic in every way and they sold thousands because they were affordable, why doesn't Jag or whoever build a modern day version that follows the same principle, stylish, quick and affordable and sell thousands?.
