Muppet. I suggest you get yourself down to Specsavers. After reading this I went and had another look at it.

From the ariel footage that was shown on the replay lowndes came around the corner and hit him in the rear.

As for it been intentional. No it wasn't, but very few incidents are. At the end of the day if you are in the wrong and take out another driver, you get penalised.

Now you lot complaining about all the adds, serve yourself right for watching them. I record the race and start watching it about an hour and a half after it starts. I then just skip the adds.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    Excellent race.
Jamie's initial stint was absolutely brilliant, ya don't see driving like that very often, and he was VERY modest about it, "Ah well, it wasn't as hard as it looked, I was mainly driving against the No 2 drivers". And he came close again, BUT, ya can't win a 161 lap race with only 160 laps worth of fuel!
Well done Chaz, and well done to James Moffatt & Nick Percat, three "young guns".
I thought Ch 7 did a top job, and Larko as usual was brilliant. Ads?.. ya can't do much about them, it will be interesting to see how Ch 10 measure up next year.
Track breaking up?..Nothing new about that, I've watched Motor Racing for years, & it happens,...races get stopped & they try to fix it. Never happened in the "old days", but ya know what it's like these days,..safety, doing the right thing, shoulda done this, shoulda done that, & imagine what would've been said if they hadn't tried to fix the track, & someone had been killed in an accident as a result of the breaking up,....the dogooders would've had a ball.
Working on cars on the track during "the stop",...don't know about that one.
But I don't make the rules.
V8 Supercars face a few challenges. Not only Ford's committment, but Holden have only committed until the year before Commodore ends production? And, I don't like the chances of Erebus continuing with no sponsorship?
Anyway, this race was an absolute ripper, & I really enjoyed watching it

gotta agree pickles....rebuilding the cars on the grid didn't seem right.

I thought they should have just parked them up and resumed with no repairs i.e. like the race never stopped.

Yes you can. Read the last line in my last post number 142.

As for doing repairs on the track during the stopped race. Could not agree more with the previous two posts. I reckon it is unfair on the ones that have managed to keep their car in good shape.

Yeah, the fact they got to work on the cars almost made it like there were 2 races. A bit of a joke really.

Ads?...Ha ha ha, yeah good idea, we've got a T box, & I think it's got a facility like that, but mate, I am bloody hopeless at trying to work out how all that stuff works, it would've ruined my day!
Only the Enduros are FTA next year, which I didn't like, but as I love V8 Supercars, I'm leaning to giving Foxtel a go.
I don't think anyone likes "ads", but I go back a long way,& I can remember worse "interuptions". Anyone remember "World Of Sport" with Ron Casey & Jack Dyer & co? Well that used to be on TV for 3 hrs on Sunday, but on Bathurst telecast days, it still ran, mid day on the Sunday, only supposed to be for an hour (that was bad enough), but sometimes they (Ron, Jack & Co) would babble on for THREE HOURS!!!...Imagine that amount of time out of the telecast?

G'day Pickles, yep it was a ripper of a race. The drives from the blokes at the back of the grid was just amazing and some of the best that has ever been seen not only at the mountain but anywhere. And fully agree in regards to working on the cars during the red flag period, silly rule. And it would be an absolute tragedy if all Erebus hard work was in vain,Betty and the team have poured their heart and soul into that team. Mercedes Benz Australia need to pull their heads out of their asses and help this team out.

On the radio this morning they said that Lowndes has apologised to Wimterbottom for turning him around.

    And I'd believe it.
Lowndes is a gentleman. It's why he's so popular.
