    G'day Jason,
I have a family member that has panic attacks. We take it one day at a time (geez sounds like I'm in a footy team ). Two steps forward, one step back.

Keep working with your experts and surround yourself with those you love and trust.

    Good onya for facing it.

Come and talk land rovers when your feeling crap - always makes me feel better.

    Talking

Yep i'm waiting for the step back i know it will come something will set it off & i will take 2 steps back happens all the time just have to deal with it..
BUT on a brighter note i had a huge step forward today i went out but it was with a differance i went on my own i got bored while karen went shopping so i got the rover out & went for a drive ,i only went down the road to cardiff bilo then went round to aldi , i thought if i seen karens car at one of them i would stop & go in but today she desided to shop at glendale,,so i did a few laps of cardiff then came home..i tell ya i couldnt get me head in the door when i got home was on to much of a high..
i know its sound dumb but i havent gone out on my own for many years..
maybe i should give this site my medicare number as use have done & boosted my confidance more in just over a week than any shink has done in years.. i stoped seeing them years ago..
the doc says since i dont do well with people inperson that i should try & build some friends over the phone get to trust them & then maybe try & meet or have them over for ten mins & slowly work the time they stay for a vist each time, up till they could stay for an hour ,but that wont work as i hate talking on the phone i wont even talk to karen for more than 5 min at most.....plus when people are here (the little family i see) i keep walking out & in its just a nurvous thing,& i am to embarrest to say to anyone that i am nurvous & its time to go....
i think its just the male thing i have trouble with as most of it came from my father...
KAREN has come up with a novel idea if anyone is interested,I use to text my friend all the time allday till he died ,i still cant belive he went & done that silly old bugga..he was in his 70s i spose..
anyway karen said why not text people for a while see where it gets me & build some friendships build some trust..
as friends & friendship is new to me..it took years to trust old tom before he died..
ALTHOUGH i have started calling all use on here my friends wen i talk to karen bout the site..

    Well done. Keep going.
You can use the internet as a safe way to establish contact with people. Has worked well for my father in law who is completely deaf but has a lot of contacts online. It has really widened his life right out.

    Awesome stuff

ANYTIME you feel the need to chat, is a good time The ownership and interest we all share in a commonaliy such as Landrovers etc is a rare thing these days, can do people a lot of good feeling linked in a type of community. This place has its ups and downs and its side to sides too, but overall can give way more than it takes

    Keep it up !

    Nice work Jason,
    Don't forget...phone, text or AULRO.COM
Maybe next time you go for a drive you could take some pictures for us.
We have a rule you see - It doesn't happen without pictures.

You don't have to show us your face but we love landy pics or maybe a nice sunset or something....ok maybe not the bilo carpark ....unless it's full of land rovers.....hahahaha

It's easy to post up photos when you get the hang of it.
