Thanks Pickles, it was a day we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend it to any one interested in planes. My interest is in the old piston engined ones. Love the sound of the Rolls Royce Merlin in the Mustangs and Spitfires. But I absolutely looovvveed the sound of the supercharged radial engine in the Aussie Boomerang fighter.

You can hear a little bit of it 35 seconds into this clip.(turn the volume up). Still not a patch on hearing it in real life though.

had a guy wanting to buy both my series ones and defender. he said he was in wa.
he sent me the money for them plus 4.5k for shipping through western union but i had to pay the shipping to some mob who had their head office in china before i got the total amount. I simply told the guy well i dont have 4.5k on me to pay the shipping, not that I would anyway, just in case it was a scam of some sort.

Yeah its a scam , anything with western union is a scam. Be a smart ass & tell him you paid for the freight so where do I take the cars to or when will the company be here to collect.

Yep, as Jason said, it is a scam Tony. I have read articles on scams many times and they all mention that scammers use Western Union.

If he is genuine ask him to do a direct deposit into your account. Anyway, why would somebody want to pay that sort of money on something sight unseen.

Definitely a scam. I would ignore it.

Yeah it is very suss so yeah a scam. I would never pay anything for someone else when I am selling something. I think I will string him along
