    lug wrench
    1 rusty can opener

    and a brand new spare

Came in handy today tyre went flat on the highway and rolled off the rim at 110!
I can tick that one off the list of near misses
Geez, USI. talked about mixed blessings.
Nearly dead, but you got a bonus FRED!
Soak it in WD40 and in 5 yrs (given the current rate of appreciation in the FRED index), you will be able to awap it for another 110!
But seriously, was yours a Blue slip vehicle?
    Cheers, BDave.

I lost count of the number of FREDs I "salvaged" for mates, friends of the family, distant relatives, etc on camps
Of course, we had a slightly different interpretation of the acronym...

Second round lots (at Minto) had the jack etc in them too.

If some peanut has declared the hydraulic jack a liability, they should consider the factory issue scissor jack in most new cars today - scrap value only.

The military bottle jack is superb. A piece of paper with 'Don't get under a vehicle without a jack stand' or similar should be sufficient - or let Darwinism take its course.

It's such a shame we let morons set the pace when it comes to enjoying ourselves...

Bring on the next auction round!

    Regards, BDave.
In case its of interest to you i was working for an engineering company in Sydney 20 years ago when we were asked to tender for a contract building the chassis for these 6x6 110's .

We missed out on the contract but i recall they were desperate to get them rolling.

All i recall from the spec was the chassis were all to be galvanised after fabrication and had an intricate QA qualification.

I am still browsing here looking for that buyers guide ( spent about 20 hours reading so far ) , i have interest in the moggies too if someone can point me to any service records / defect guides for what is coming up for sale.
Its going to be a long journey , there is 2268 or so of those still to be sold as the new MANN's are delivered.

but from the history on it...

he got a well looked after unit, even if the last tech inspects were "dodgy"
    If the very recent tech inspects look dodgy then i suspect it may be that ;

various bases want to get their share of new vehicles ASAP , so they must defect the old ones in order to get priority on replacements.

therefore previously working vehicles might get some water poured in the fuel tank , or some airlines slashed that operate gearbox selectors / drives , or fuel lines accidentally crushed.

the vehicle is then defected for being irrepairable and they get shortlisted for upgrades.

the above is only my suspicion and i could be completely wrong

dodgy because the TI's show the vehicle to be in much better condition than it probably is and it had 2 TI's in very rapid succession.

decoding his GM120 is still on the list but Im time poor ATM.

    Not 4x4.

4x4 come in 2dr soft top (most) and 5dr wagon configuration.
6x6 - see below - looks like there are some dual cabs
