I am now purchasing a toyota size hub[4wd] blank and getting it drilled to suit disco patten. I know this is a bit long winded BUT!!!!
That's strange because my original hubs were standard Ford hubs with 12mm studs and 15in sunnies fitted on my camper trailer, it's rated to 1600kg and weighs 1300kg, when i changed to Disco wheels 2 1/2yrs ago, the trailer mob that did my hubs used standard 9" drum brake hubs drilled in 120 PCD too suit 14mm studs, not so called 4X4 hubs, also i'm still running the original Ford bearings.
Why would drilling them again weakin them, look at it this way, a Commodore weighs 1800kgs a 6x4 box trailer weighs a max of 750kg loaded.
To get around the problem ask for a blank hub drilled in 120 PCD WITH Landcruiser studs, they are M14 studs anyway.
