    Last couple of days actually.
Repaired multiple cracks in the 15 year old plastic rear bumper on the D2.
I used a product called Q-Bond which is really amazing stuff and something that I have added to my spares box. You can not only weld/repair plastic but also steel. It comes as a two part, powder (different for plastic and steel but both supplied) + glue/reaction agent. It hardens in 7 seconds and can be filed, ground, drilled, tapped etc.

Anyway, once I 'welded' all the cracks up, I ground them flush, sanded with wet & dry then painted with Primer Finisher, repeated the last two steps a few times eliminating a number of scratches in the process, then finished it with a few coats of Bumper Satin Black.

Didn't come up too bad IMHO for a 15 year old bumper, and might even make it a bit easier to sell ......................... once I fixed up a few other little items.

As I'm sure someone will say that it didn't happen without pics, here's a few 'graphs of the process. Unfortunately I didn't get any before I started but I'm sure the 'graphs will give you a good idea of the extent of the damage.

Spent nearly 3 hours under & over Hugh the 90" spraying, brushing, wiping ACF-50 to the underside, engine bay, all hinges. Will now let dry for 24 hours before taking him for a run. Chassis came up very well!
