Looks very tidy. Will be most interested to check it out!

What's it like cruising at 100? Bleeding ears? Fuel consumption?

100 is about flat out, but 90 is very comfortable. A conversation at normal level can be heard at both speeds. Hoping that the larger 22.5" rims bring it up a bit. If not a pair of Euro long legged diffs will be sourced. That said, I don't feel the need to want to do much more than 90...

    Strip down..

Now I've had a decent sleep, its time to play. Two tanks, two boxes and a hose reel to remove. There'd be a tonne or so in all of that.. But first, there's a crane to master!!

Needs at least 5 antennae mounting tabs fitted and a steer skull before it'll fit the ute.

Its days are numbered! Looks too big for the front of it.. There's a local haulage firm who has about 10 Merc's, so that will be my first port of call. Well, a few hours spent with the rattle gun, and a crash course on crane operation and the 'fuel cart' is no more!

Interesting you should say that.. Its an ex Telstra truck.. There's one already in it. Just gotta work out what's involved in getting it 'live' again. I know nothing about them.

    Hmmmmm... ATM's...
