    Don’t they just!!!

That one is 2 drivers only and every 10,000km service it gets a pile of parts thrown at it!

Latest development is full audio failure (you don’t want to know the price) and the engine is “fine”, but sounds like a cement mixer!!

I get a selection from 2 most recent Playdos, a Troopy V8, a current and old generation Hilux and a 3.2 Ranger.

My preference is the Ranger. Best seats more responsive and far smoother.

Yeah, they switched to the Rangers at work only s couple of months after I got the Hilux - they do drive better and have far more features standard than the Hilux, but beggars can't be choosers.

One of our vehicles at work is a Mitsi L300. It has a terrible job. It's abused, mainly because it's doing what a jour wheel drive should be doing, by upwards of 16 drivers, and it's salt encrusted most of the time.
It's over 10 years old and it's never driven more than 10 Ks at a stretch, with almost always a cold start each time.
I hate it. You can't get in it with a hard hat on or you'll break your neck, your bums sore after 10 minutes, and of you ever stack it, thats you finished. But the Management won't replace until it dies and it just bloody well refuses to die.
They won't replace it because it cost bugger all to run.
    Cheers, Billy.

There a funny vehicle the L300,I refused to work on them because the Astron engine, the 2.0ltre in particular were a horror show, and the clutches were akin to wet tissue's,but your's is defying everything I know about them. Pat

Same here. I had developed a savage prejudice against them which won't go away The Astron, if it was true to form. would have been blowing smoke 50,00 Ks ago. It must have scored prototype valve guides.
Apart from the motor, I really do hate it and it just isn't suited to the job.
    Cheers, Billy.
