Thread lock on your wheel nuts will stop any worry about using wheel spacers ,i have been using them for 8 years and never had a problem
I had Bruce fit a new intercooler, exhaust, EGR fiddle, billet VNT turbo and remap to my MY15 90. I then fitted slightly taller tyres. The end result is fantastic. Hwy fuel consumption has dropped by 0.8lt/100km, over taking is effortless, and where as before 1st was just too short around town unless it was on an incline, now it is perfect. The tune so far is only mild as the 90 only had about 2500km on it. That said I had it dyno'd before and after and power and torque are ~35% more than standard. Once it has 15k on the clock I will get Bruce to make it work a little harder.
I get why some of these performance mods are being done, but why are you guys doing them to brand new vehicles, which still have years of warranty ?
Surely after that exhaust turbo IC there going to reject your claims if anything engine or driveline related decides to pack it in, and rightly so.
Also why unless your trying to turn a defender into a sports car, change the turbo the standard variable geometry turbo is pretty good, keeps the boost steady pretty much all the time with virtually no lag?
Please don't take offence in the way I've asked these questions I'm just interested.
