I just been for a run up to Cairns and back, and the new brakes feel very solid and strong. I did some emergency stops on my dirt road from 80kph and it pulls up sharply.
Once the braided lines are fitted, it would only improve pedal feel more.
I'm happy, and it's a highly recommended mod.

fitted two stainless steel front recovery swivel points this morning. But if a pain as I had to cut a small section on the bullbar side strapping to get them in.

APT Steering guard, fuel cooler guard and Sand Flag mount

As above, due to my Terrafirma Steering guard not fitting well and not allowing access to the tow points due to the ARB bar fouling the eyes, I just purchased an APT steering guard and fuel cooler guard from their web site.
I've always been impressed with Bens' items, and it will allow me to utilise the drop down tow eyes as they clear the ARB bar.

I also fitted another Rhino rack Pioneer light bracket to the front edge of my Rhino roof rack, to which I've attached the spring mount for my illuminated sand flag. This cleans up the front of my bull bar.

I've also added a Rhino rack strengthening bracket to the rear corner of my roof rack to offer better support to my 270 deg awning, to reduce any sag when open. The pivot point is here and all the weight causes flex in the rack with out support.

As well today, I purchased a very impressive NOCO Lithium jump starter pack. Their GB70 Boost HD.
Very powerfu (2000 amps, good for a 6 litre diesel) and they do work. It's the heavy duty unit the RACQ use.
Peace of mind and charge for smaller electrical items as well when bush.
That's enough spending for one day!

    Sand flag

This is my illuminated sand flag location.
I just need to wire up the on / off switch into the cabin.
Unfortunately it doesn't break into 2 or 3 parts, so I'll just lay it over onto my rack when in transit.
    Another job done.
    Best wishes all.

Finished the wiring for the solar panel to go on the roof rack. The regulator is in the battery box and connected through a circuit breaker, and the lights are on to show it recognises the battery. The wires run up onto the firewall. Now just waiting on the mounting brackets to arrive so the panel can go up there and be plugged in and we're away.

How did you run the cable into your truck Mick?
I've thought about mounting solar as well, but will add a second fuel tank to supplement my Long Ranger 127 liter first.
I have internal water tanks (80 liters).
I aim to only have solar, room for a swag, gas bottle and perhaps a 2nd spare on my rack in the end to keep the weight low in the truck.
    Thanks.
    Ken
