    Billy, the GAP diagnostic tool is what I’m referring to.

    The BAS tool likely covers off much of what the GAP tool does... at least the reading/clearing of fault etc...and allows remapping.

    Not sure what else a GAP tool might do on top what a BAS tool does?

    I realise that the BAS tool is an IID tool but can it access more than the engine ecu?

    The IID tool can also access the instrument pack, the ABS module and the immobiliser. It can also read and clear faults on most late model LRs.

    Thanks. I have a BAS tool. but it doesn't show the immobiliser.
