Ok so just talked to my local Landy shop and for standard LR springs I'm looking at $1400.00 for springs and upper and lower retainers for the HD spring inserts (apparently you need these as the standard doesn't retain them)
Looking on the Brit Parts site the same would set me back just under $800 + P&H but was told that the Brit Parts ones are cheap and nasty ripoffs.
Whats everyones thoughts?
Not keen on spending $1400 on suspension after just repairing a head gasket leak on the TD5![]()
Front: King Springs with 50mm lift
Rear: King Springs with 50mm lift + Airbags
Custom shocks all round.
Speak to Brendan at The Ultimate Suspension, Ingleburn. These guys have been awesome to deal with, polite, on time, great service and not too expensive.
Bobby
air bags from airbag man; love em, comfort and load carrying capability, you can buy their in cabin controls /compressor etc, or make your own from a disco-2 SLABS unit from the wreckers.

Thanks guys.
After a lot of thought I'm settling on a set of King springs with possible airbags if I feel the need. Will talk to my local shop in regards to which type to get, thinking getting medium duty so they aren't stiff as a board and if they are too soft getting the airbags in the rear.
Just completed 20,000k's round trip and very happy with my new fox's and for reference my 130 is very closed to 3.5T on the scales loaded with everything ( including the family)
for reference it's 11' pin to pin all way round on 2+ mounts
shocks are 11' remote res factory race 2.0's with custom valving
Front coils are Old Man Emu 3063 ( 450mm free and 225 lbf/in )
Rears are Old Man Emu 3066 ( 500mm free 370/430 lbf/in)
I still have a second set of coils for when unloaded and I going to swap to the adjustable Low Speed Compresion in the remotes in the rear

11 foot shocks!!! That’s crazy.
