my how things have changed.

The earliest post I can find is may 2003,, but it says something about "I'm back!",, so I can only imagine the earlier posts have been a victim of dodgy hard drives:D

At the start it was an eyeopener to get a new member from outside QLD,, now its normal to have on-line Land Rover Buddies in Iraq:p.

Its amazing to think of the Technical expertise available at the touch of a keyboard, how many members "we've" helped out in some ways,, and by no means just LandRover help. We have Vets, Accountants, Salespeople, LR people, Gunsmiths, IT wizzes, etc etc.

Our members tell us when the good and bad happens and you'd have to ask yourself why?,, why air your linen(dirty or otherwise--) to the WWW? I did (ask myself)at the start. But after a few such posts I understood its not the WWW,, its the mates on the WWW that cause it. If you just got flamed every single time you talked about something other than Land Rovers, or asked a silly tech question, you'd soon stop.

But that doesnt happen here.
(and you can be sure it wont;))

From the start this place has survived on (Inc's sweat) and Donations,, and people donate all manner of things,, their technical expertise, goods and services, free courier services(do you know how RARE this is is?!?) and money. But most important of all they donate their TIME,, from the newest of the newbs to P38a we all give our time freely, whether its for our own entertainment or the need to help others, Time is the key.
