Hi People.
I see after the dimise of the Skullers the "chat" seems to have shifted to the "Stars" thread.
Started this thread so we can all chat nonsense and sense if your that way inclined with our overseas ambasador Grockle.
Please abide by AULRO etiquette and rules.
Cheers
Andrew

why'd she quit?

Following the outbreak of WW2 she volunteered for the Royal Navy as a stowker(from her coal delivery knowledge)still only aged 9 lying about her age telling the billiting officer she was 12,was awarded a medel in late 1943 for catching a torpedo that had entered one of the coal bunkers fired from a German sub(U112)and putting it under her blanket thus saving her ship the SS Ho Har,boarding up the hole in the hull with dried egg powder boxes, the following morning giving the torpedo to the gunnery Mid shipman for his collection.

On being demobbed from the Merchant Navy she stowed away in a box marked Darwin(she thought Darwin in Lancashire not to far from Wigan would get a free trip home)only to wake up in Darwin NT. here she made most of her mistake giving etiquette lessons to all who would listen, latterly here on AULRO forums but at her age thought she would hand the task over to a younger member,being...............

Some little, no good, poor excuse for a living being, air theif has stolen both Janelle's and my bikes. No only that but my bike had a tow bike on it and Janelles had a kiddie trailer for jack and clancy on it too.

Unlikely that the bludging, got nuffing better to do toss pots will be caught but I might start tieing the dogs up out the front from now on. Put them on a quick release so I can let them go nuts. (the Lab will lick them to their demise).

Just checking out suitable places for us to have a landfall and build a new temple for us there.:D You just never know with me navigating when we may need somewhere:angel:PS,the last 56 pages of " Navigating for Idiots" have been ripped out.:o Perhaps we should start getting the survival rations together now.;)

Zoonie has 'borrowed' those pages, he's looking to get Venus to drop him off some Lazoon sun cream from Space City and he needed the coordinates where the SS Ho Har will be in twenty minutes ;)

I've got a catering size box of pork scratchings for the survival rations

Hey Grock
Our "Chooks Foot" is a Merc 6410 prime mover,Chooks Foot is a non endearing term for the Merc badge up front.
The driver is making up a swastika to replace it.
At work I get called "The Fat Controler in the Wheelhouse".
Basically refering to my rotund shape and the fact that I bark orders from my Grader cab, that looks alot like a wheelhouse.
No need to worry,LA aint crook.I didnt eat the croutons:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

You can put stuff on the line to dry and it will take 2 days because of the humidity. 30 degs but at 80% humid it justs gets hot not dry,

I used to drive a 2424 for a living - hauling super-phosphate for topdressing.

Your work sounds like my house - here I am called The Fat ATM

and... $900 a quarter is common for bills here - electric in summer and gas in winter - aircon and central heating...

Warn me if you are going to run aground - this drifting off the port bow is quite pleasant in this heat...
