    Now Dave start using the on camera flash on the avian photography so the birds eye have the "spark" on it. It makes a lot of difference compared to a black eye on them.

    i have an sb-700 i use a fair bit but didn't today as the grand kids were around and i forgot to pop the flash up on nearly all the good shots i took..

    photo count is up to nearly 1500 in a week or so...

    What's the best way to use flash on bird photography because flash always washes out colour if strong but I still haven't worked out how to do a gentle fill flash on my Nikon speed light. you know just enough to give catch lights in the eyes
    Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

    don't get a chance to go chase them so they are mostly all here at home... i reckon i have about 10 more variety of birds to get yet, that visit my yard regularly then i will have to start on the shore birds down at the waterfront

    the ones from the dead wattle farm i put in the other thread..
