I can't find the grille for the cut outs (they are in a box somewhere), they are not very flash, they look like the perforated metal grilles used to ventilate the underfloor space of brick veneer houses, i hope you know what i mean.

Wow steve, that thing looks like it's going to be awesome! Looking through your album and seeing the wiring stage.. reminded me of when I did mine.. such a tedious job!
I'd too suggest to stick with the rangie.. looks so much better than a D1 hehehe

This thread is great! There aren't half as many Classic's built here in the US. This was my last Classic before and after my daughter roled it. I'm currently building a '95 LWB to replace it.

Nice rig Denny! Pity about it turning turtle... I don't care hat anyone else thinks, but a beefed up Classic is pretty much the best and toughest looking 4WD going.
Your sons Classic seems to be in its natural habitat - on the back of a trailer...

Throw up a pic of my classic
87, 3.5l, 5 speed, flexi flares and efs lift, long travel shocks with dislocation cones on 33's pretty basic at moment only just put it on road. Blew viscous fan and dented bonnet so now running twin 16 inch thermos.
