Or a pointless waste of time, depending on your point of view.
It is pointless, be more useful to cut it into a ute and put a canopy on it, otherwise the doors arent exactly an inconvenience on a panel van type body...

I stand by my original suggestion of putting a 2 door body on, he wants to source the panels anyway so why **** around chopping two bodies up, could even sell the 4 door body and do it really cheaply!!!

But it sounds like all froogle wants is a yes to his crackpot idea, so YES, go for it, I'll buy the chassis when you've ****ed the body up and make a comp truck.

    That's not Land Rover enough!
Drill a few holes in each side and cable tie them together!
Duct tape over the gaps, but not straight or evenly spaced, so you don't lose that "From factory" look.
Go ahead and do it Fooogle. Do whatever you like

Not that it matters anyway, you could have called him Rita for all I care!

I think to do it "Land Rover enough" you would definitely need exposed rivet heads.

    Good point.
Don't forget to maintain the Lucas electrics though, can't go wrong with them

I was thinking the along the same lines, along with predented panels, but I thought it may have been a bit "Defender". But being a Discovery, Im not sure if LR would rivet the door shut, perhaps they'd just fit a great big rubber seal like those around the windows, take the door handles off and market it as a 3dr.
