Found Perfect Stereo for Disco 1 (early)

    Hi boys,
Been slowly doing up the disco and have come to the radio......now i dont know about you all but CD's belong nowhere near me.....usb stick and aux all the way PLUS the disco has a exceptionally shallow Radio spot.
Good news, found one perfectly fitting that is cheap as chips, but no cd player (who cares in my eyes). Heres the info, and fitted it today and sounds good
Also Bluetooth version available but nearly double the price....plus i hate bluetooth.

I have the same in my early d1.
Bought one from repco for $50 when they had them on special. Bought one for the 90 as well.

No Cd so fits nice and snug in the gap. Which is normally a pain. Also has a remote which is handy in the early D1 as the radio is too far to reach from the seat. And when I bought I thought "Christ I can't remember the last time I played a cd in the car so why do I need one. "
USB or cable to the iPhone is fine.

They were cut, but i have no problem cutting looms........plenty of meat left on it if i need to modify. Double insulated power (as i always do).

I posted this in my intro but I bought this Philips unit which, surprisingly to me, had the same 'Euro' plug fittings and went straight in to the Disco. Autobarn here had them for sale at $200 instead of $300. I mainly use the USB and the Bluetooth for music (my son in particular likes that feature).
