After the few problems I had getting ready I spent two great weeks in the high country and TELLY went great.
It has been a long time since I drove a 4x4 without lockers or limited slip diff and was a little concerned that I would make it up some of the tracks I had selected to do. I needn't have worried because he went great, did billy goat bluff (bent both rear guards...should have done a camel cut
), into Talbotville and blue rag range as well as others.....Very happy.
Todays job is unpacking and then trying to get 2 weeks worth of high country dust out of the interior
The glove box also need repair.. the upper part that holds the lid shut and the light, dropped out. It looks like it is just pushed onto some plactic ribs and they are melted through the slots in the metal bracket.
Does anyone have experience with repairing this part? Or does anyone have a dash apart the can take a photo of how it is mounted?
