G'day All, my first post so go easy on me!
I've got a '96 Disco with a bit done to it, starting at the front and working my way back...
ARB Bull bar
Narva 175 spots
Safari Snorkel
Baintech Dual Battery
ARB Air compressor
Front Suspension is Terrafirma Pro Sport shocks, +2" King Springs and 1" lowered bump stops, dislocation cones and all the extended brake lines and ABS sensors to match
7" LCD Screen with reverse camera and TV (For waiting for the Wife to exit the shops)
Uniden UH013 UHF
Pioneer sound system
ARB Rear Locker
Rear Suspension is Terrafirma Pro Sport shocks, +2" King Springs and 1" lowered bump stops, dislocation cones, lowered shock mount and extended Brake lines and ABS sensors
Thule Roof rack with a cheap roof basket and Powerful 4x4 awning.
Home made storage system for the ARB fridge and camp gear
I've been building this car up for about 4 years now and I'm really happy with it! It looks relatively mild with only a 2" lift, but has shown some very high budget trucks a thing or two!
Next step is to find some swaybar disconnects - I have enough flex to invert the rear sway bar mounts if I don't crawl under there and take them off before play time.
Here's my 1996 300TDi. I've been going gang-busters on the build-up, and this is it in its current state (more to be done this weekend!).
Mods so far (plus there's a few I've forgotten about):
- ARB Bullbar
- Lightforce driving lights
- Safari snorkel
- Window tint
- Thule roof-racks & Thule roof-rack basket
- Tradesman cargo barrier
- Bridgestone A/T's (upgrading to muddies soon)

Guys, please be gentle as this is my first post.
I've spent the last 3 days adding the following:
* Safari Snorkel
* Aldi 9500lb Winch
* RedArc Dual Battery System
* Telescopic Worklight
* External 12v socket
My Disco also has:
* Codan HF Radio with auto-tune antenna
* Uniden UHF 40ch Radio
* Milford Cargo Barrier
* Narva Driving Lights
* TJM Winch Bar
* Tow Bar
* Rear under-carriage bar
* Cooper AT Tyres
* & CHARACTER
Installing the Safari Snorkel was definitely more work than I thought it would be, although making space for the 2nd battery in a V8 was quite challenging when the Snorkel takes most of the spare space. Luckily I don't have ABS & could put my coil & spark module where the ABS would normally go.
I also mounted the RedArc unit to the Altenator by drilling 2 small holes into the bracket & used high-tensile screws to secure it. I also added the optional bypass switch so I could jump-start from the auxiliary battery & added the status LED.
The work light in all cost me about $60. It's a paint roller extension, mounted with riveted saddles attached to the spare tyre holder bolts. The spot-light on it cost $10 for a twin pack on clearance. The cheapest telescopic work lights I could find on the net cost $150-$200. I figured $60 was a bargain
I noticed there's not a lot here on modding the V8's so figured my pics would help someone here.
Any questions or wondering how exactly I did something, just ask.
I thought I had previously posted some pics but cant seem to find them so here is my 2 door D1

Gday 2_door
Thanks for posting that link to your list of mods, had a great photo of your rear bar. Did you make that? I have to make one for mine and that looks pretty good.
Twin locked, 35's, stronger everything, etc etc that thing must be a fair weapon. Building mine up to something similar. Did you have a build thread anywhere?
Cheers
