Well I haven't really posted any pics of mine, don't really have many. But took these today so thought I would post.

Its a 95 manual TDi with 295k, Safari snorkel, 2.5 exhaust with free flow muffler, Dobinson 45/50 mm lift, 245/75/16 Cooper STT, modded ARB bar, Warn 9000lb, Lightforce spots and thats about it.

At present am making up some aluminium spacers for the front to level it out and am looking for some wolf rims to put 235/85/16s on. Then just replace the UHF with a new Uniden and it will be done.

In the second shot you an see where it rolled up against a tree and damaged the panel. Some how the interior doesnt leak, not sure how... In the last shot, its what I got it like.

Hey mate thats a nice disco you've got there. I'd love to have a look at some more pics! I made some spring locators to, forgot to post it, the springs seem to like popping out when it starts to flex a bit. How did the 5 inch lift go for you? Is it all suspension or some body as well? Everytime i work on this car i swear and curse, but hey its a land rover thing once the bug bites gotta love that luxury

The big flex can work for you and against.
I run 3 inch Kings Springs, with a 2" body lift.
The locators certainly do the job, and you definetely need them.
Especially when you articulate fully, the springs creak and grone, but do their job.
Big flex, fantastic on rock and wombat style tracks etc, but high slopes/hills etc its a bit hairy, as the centre of gravity is off, so the front will want to lift more than standard.
The pro-comp shocks are very soft, but give a fantastic ride.
The rear bar you have looks great. Outcast Offroad made one up for me, to incorporate the tow bar in one.
Provides much better clearance and strength, especially on creek runs with high rock climbing.
When l get a chance, l will post some pics, or have a look at August Issue of 4wd Action Mag, as the car has a 4-5 page spread
    Cheers Dave

All good, If its not raining tomorrow, l will get some pics up for you.
Yeah, both cars seem really well set up from your reports.
Good to see you know the disco's well.
You would be surprised where l take mine and it does the job.
Bit of carnage on the car from time to time, but not scared to have a go
Outcast Offroad pretty much built the car from the ground up.
We also have a 76 Rangie ute, twin locked with a Nissan Turbo in it , and a Series 3 79 as a project car.
The Outcast boys are building a RR for Tough Trucks, running 40's.
Pretty sure the Disco will end up with 37's before long, but will need plenty of transfer case reduction.
    Cheers Dave

By the looks your running standard shock mounts?
How much lift is under it, are you running standard or cranked arms?

    Thanks in advance.. TIM.
