oh there it is! Whoops!
oh there it is! Whoops!
To resurect a couple of old threads, I don't have any answers but would like to hear from anyone who does. Please give specifics on what is required. I have a 96 D1 auto and get 18 to 19 L/100km on petrol and 21 to 22 l/100km on gas. Towing an 18ft poptop it goes up to 27 to 30 l/100km on lpg depending on winds and terrain. But I do notice lack of torque going up hills so any improvement in economy should be as a result of increase in torque so hopefully I can win on both counts.
Hey Utemad, impressive looking setup for the cover on your gas tanks. Have you got a pic of the finished article. Just wondered what the cut-outs were for.
It essentially looks like this still except it has covers over the holes. The cutouts are access holes for pockets so you can access the areas beside the tank as the tank is not full width across the floor.
There are also some screw in eyes that go into holes with threaded plate beneath them that I use as fridge tie down points.
Never did put the cargo barrier back in but that is happening in the next few weeks actually.
This pic shows the unfinished covers (except the LHS one). I haven't actually got a finished pic.
