Don't worry about the ACE comments. I have ACE and SLS and just fitted new Koni shocks. They don't make any reference to ACE or not; neither did any vendor I talked to in Australia when doing my research including Bilstein.

would you suggest then the 400/100? how would that be empty??

    cheers

if its only heavy for the odd weekend full of camping gear i wouldnt recomend the 400/100.
that rating is more suited to cars decked out with draws, fridges, recovery gear, roof racks, twin spare tyre's etc

    cheers phil

But you're on the right track

You also need the 1/2" to 12mm reducing bushes from Rovertym.

i cant seem to find those reducing bushes from rovertym...

can you point them out to me?

do i need 8 of these reducing bushes? 4 at the back and 4 for the front?

Also Tombie Did you get these from the US and how much was postage for you? They are telling me that its going to be very expensive because of the 200PSI pressure in the remote tank... :S

i have sls and ace. i think you wont notice any differance. the ace system will, for better or worse, to a degree controll the shocks, its a system that minimises body roll, so if you put in a stiffer shock it should work less and softer shocks will offer the reverse.
the air bags are bascially just a spring and a shock controlls springs so im confident in saying that there wont be any noticable differance, other than the replacement of the dead OE shocks to the new billies.
