1. Hill Descent Control... I tried the Hill Descent Control and I am not sure if it is working or not. I read in the manual that you must have it in 1st gear (I have automatic transmission) for it to work. When I push the HDC switch there is a green flashing light (HDC symbol) on the dash and there is a continuous ding-ding-ding sound. Is this normal? I have tried it down a few steep hills but I haven't noticed any braking. Is the HDC broken or am I missing something? I don't have to be in low range right?
2. Tyre pressure... Inside the front door it says that the tyre pressure should be 28 PSI in the front tyres and 46 PSI in the rear. This seems quite strange to me. The difference is huge and wouldn't the car be heavier in the front?
3. Cruise control... The cruise control is not very responsive compared to our Mitsubishi lancer. If you activate the cruise control at 100 km/h and take your foot off the accelerator the speed drops to 90-95 km/h before it kicks in and slowly creeps up to just under 100 km/h. Usually this takes 10-15 seconds. Is this normal or does mine have a problem?
That's all for now but I will probably run in to more mysteries soon.
