Remove the ashtray and coin tray, there's some screws at the back. There might be some behind the upper section as well, behind the panel at the bottom of the stero face, it pulls up.

I assume you start on the left side of the stereo area where it drops down and feed it down there somehow?

I used a steel coat hanger to the right, past the UHF and up between the pillar and dash.

This is the only image I have - at the moment.

I'm trying to place an image to show part of under the steering wheel. For some reason it keeps placing the wrong image. This is where I have my images: http://members.iinet.net.au/~zippo.p...012-12-15.html

    I hope it helps.

    Cheers.

Thanks fellas. Ok Kenwood digital radio is now in - I love hearing ABC News Radio in nice clear crisp tones. Boring yes...

Ok - routing was easy, just time consuming to get it all nice a neat and make sure the aerial wire doesnt rub on anything and chafe.

The fitting of the head unit was dead easy and looks very sweet - compliments the dash a lot more than I thought an aftermarket unit might.

    I will post some pics.

The sound quality of the Kenwood is better than stock and drives the speakers very well.

    Cheers

Bugger - that was stationary...over bumps all the stations cut out for a second...must be a dodgy connection somewhere. Could have sworn all the connections were tight...time to pull out and re-check.

EDIT my wife reported this but it appears that she was listening to DAB and was in a bad reception area so of course the sound just ceases. She associated it with the bumps on the back road but it was just co-incidence.

    Cheers
