But yes those sorts of probs are really a process of elimination which you have started on.wiggling is not as good as pull plug apart and reseat after inspecting it for gremlins. Check the bulb socket carefully too, they sometimes appear oki but not seating, again multi meter is good as it can alert you of power levels too low to activate an incandescent bulb.
