    The wood trim can look good, especially if it's well looked after.
    Mine wasn't, and I prefer the no-frills appearance, and IMHO when it's everywhere, like on the ashtrays and stuff, it just looks naff.

    But look out when I hook up my CDL then I'll spam you with arm rest pictures.

    Actually I stand corrected. Seeing your pics I reckon yours is genuine land rover.

    Door strips were fitted to the ES models up to 2002 which is what yours is by the look. Your centre console should be one piece including window switches.

    The after market kits generally slathered it over almost everything on the dash, like muppets used to be.

    V8 will use around 14 liters per 100ks my td5 uses about 10 liters per 100ks as for air bags they are good while they work I had air bags on my disco2 one got a hole in it while I was traveling after traveling 600ks on the bump stop I swaped them out to coils the ride is a little firmer but far more relieable
