I have never had water ingress. Touch wood! Cheers
The only water I ever had in mine was when I had the aircon running flat out. Left hand side of the drivers footwell in both the D1 and D2.

Haha...all of the above (minus the garage as you know!).
Cheers
Ps. It didn't even get water in on the OTT river crossings...soliconing up the gap in the door seals might have helped ..

Mine doesn't leak either. Never has. And it lives outside for at least half the year. Now I've offended the Land Rover gods though so expect it to be filling with water as we speak.....
And being a diesel, the economy is ok. I get 12.5 litres per hundred pretty much everywhere. It's a diesel with ACE. Would love the highway economy of some on here thought that claim under 10 litres per hundred. Mine's never got close!
I don't get the whinging about the quality of paint either - Mine still looks pretty good for a car approaching 20 years. I do wax it at least once a year though. Clear coat looks fine.
When i see real Td5 economy figures based on fills I always feel warm and fuzzy. Mine (4.6 V8...) with all the heavy gear, 2 inch lift and 31 inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs gets 14.5...pretty constant around metro
Cheers
