A parcel I've been waiting for turned up today....my new gauges!
3 of the 4 came, one is on back order as they had none with green backlighting.
EGT came along with trans temp and boost.
    water temp arrives soon.
i got them from road runner off-road, they have 3/4 dial sweep, illuminated needles, and have a programmable alarm point which sets of an audible alarm (which can be muted) and the gauge face flashes.

right now the car is in pieces with most of the wiring run.

Tomorrow I finish the gauges and require the driving lights as the crappy relay has died and I now have a spare cruise control switch to run it.

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Why would it go off guys?
In my experience if you have a suspension lift? and you pull up abruptly it can trigger the intertia switch. If you also have ACE then a fix is to recalibrate the ACE system and for this you need a diagnostic tool like HAWKEYE or NANOCOM

After our debacle on a hot day with the immobiliser on bros TD5 .. I gave him the ultimatum .. disable the alarm/immobiliser, or do it yourself!
At least turn off the alarm noise ... that everyone ignores nowadays anyhow!.

D2's are at that stage in life where no one really want to steal them .. so alarms are pretty much overkill nowadays.
And if some crackhead scum wants to do a smash and grab .. alarms are zero deterrent to them!
