If you just want the conical stopper to cobble something up yourself:

If Springvale isn't too far for 'ya, try KegKing. Otherwise most home brew/wine making supplies places should have them too, if there's one close by to you.
I got a set of silicon stoppers of various sizes for various jobs that may one day need them.
Main one I wanted was to inject air through the Tdi's block to help force out scale/rust build up.

Not cheap, but not horrendously expensive either. average price is something between $2 - $15 for really large 70+mm sized ones(from memory).

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

I guess you could cobble up something but remember that it has to take up to say 15PSI without leaking.
I bought the factory one thinking it would fit but it didn't because of the dimensions of the reservoir.
I had forgotten that it needed the cone and tried it without, and fluid ****ed everywhere.
But it is feasible to make one if you can get a stopper the correct shape.

I am not sure about the smoothness of the inside of the spout is as there is a filter basket inside which I was able to leave in place. You would probably have to have a stopper with a similar slope to the Motive power one which may be difficult to find.
    Regards Philip A
PS The Motive adaptor kit is USD27.95 so unless the postage is excessive, it is hardly worth stuffing around on something that may not hold pressure.

    Fog lights on!

Driving to work this morning, I turned the rear fog lights on. Not really needed, however, there are a few nuff nuffs around.

Make sure there is fog when you do that - Mr Plod may pick you up for any fog light used (front or rear) if it ain’t foggy.
