Have you got SLS/ACE, Rick?

Nope, standard coils/ARB's all round.
Compared to my D1, the D2 rides like a truck. [bigsad]
Cleaned the inside , checked all fluids and greased where needed result all good for Cooma[thumbsupbig]
I'm finding the same impression too.
Drive my bro's TD5(maybe half hour), my right leg cramps up(long time knee problem on right leg).
Drive my D1 for hours on end, no problem other than numb-bum.
My D2(not yet going) has electric seats. Something not working and can't move it fore/aft(yet) .. but the seats is a bit better in my D2 than brothers cloth, base model seat.
The base model D2 seats don't have under thigh support like the D1 has.
Only two cars I can drive for more than half hour or so without cruise control are my D1, and my dads Ford Exploder.
My right legs needs under thigh support or it just quits.
My D1 rides way too hard, but suspension has been badly setup by a PO.
Brother's TD5 rides nicely .. firm, but much more supple(my D1 is firm and close to harsh sometimes)
My D2 has ACE and SLS, and so far on the very short drives, feels nice. Looks original too. Can't see any work done to suspension on that one.
Hopefully will be on the road in a few months too.
Ian Petersen/Leo109 said the same thing, and he swapped his 18's for 16's too.
I lurve the ride of mine, the only time the Deefer was better is on really rough roads/whoopdedoos/causeways, etc.
The Disco runs out of bump travel in the front where the Defender would sail right through as it had over 100mm between the bump stops.
I’ve done 16 hour days in my D2 and D2a. D2 with cloth retrimmed in leather and factory leather electric, as well as shagged cloth. Factory leather is by far the best.
The standard cloth seats in the D1 enabled me to drive for 12 hours and still be fit. The D2a HSE has leather, electric seats; they are mounted too high and I am cramped in the driving position. My eye level is at the top of the screen, forcing me to duck to see traffic lights.
