..and btw this is not exclusive to LR aftermarket. My boys have 5 Nissan Patrols between them and after suffering repeated failures with non gen parts they now shell out for genuine. ..and they last like the original parts were designed to...for years and years.

The ski boat rolled into the rear bumper.... crunchy went the plastic.... then it took 1.5 days in 40 degrees to get boat up and running... lucky I am working through my Land Rover Mechanics apprenticeship... patience and resilience have increased since I enrolled...
Anyone put reversing sensors on a replacement steel rear bumper?
A rear view camera is a better option, as you can see whats going on, reverse sensors drive you crazy at times, you pass a bush or something and they go off all the time.Quote:

No, but our work cars all have them as well as reversing cameras. Everyone turns the sound down to mute as they’re annoying. Plus realistically if you hit anything as you’re reversing with a camera you should probably review your driver status.Quote:
