What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Is there a sweet spot in the rev range, where syncros do little work?

Yep. Like every box.
The thing with a short shifter - on these boxes it makes throw shorter but it doesn’t make shifts ‘quicker’

Cleaned the windscreen and rear windows, inside and out! They are so clean, they look like they are not there.

I'm thinking oil choice will be extra critical.

I haven't had a chance to try mine out, its fitted... still doing other stuff.

Certainty feels less vague in the driveway, but thats just the bias spring fix.

Ive now been for a quick drive,
Its pretty (awesome) good. Totally changed the driving experience.

Downshifting into 2nd is the only hold up.

the changes are 100% positive and definitely quicker. I Iike it alot. Fun to drive now

I've started shaving my head like Vin,
(Lockdown style)
missus reckons I look like the Rock now with a bit of the Vin thrown in.

Apart from the lack of muscles, beer gut and pasty skin, im a dead set ringer.
