I washed mine a couple of days ago and even gave the engine bay a squirt, Now the V8 appears to be missing on one cylinder bugger it.
I have squirted out the engine bay at least 50 times before and Never had a problem previously
I gave the beauty a wash today. I know its a bit weird, but I just stopped and looked at it for a while. I've had it for over 20 years now and I still absolutely love it. It still needs a few things to fix it up and there are some more mods that I'd like to do, but it's a keeper.
Cheers
Slunnie

Just got in at the right time back in September, ARB had another run of the Sahara bars as the standard A frame bars aren't produced any longer. Snagged #8 out of 10 in total, got here Thursday last week and now all painted and fitted. They weren't supposed to paint the loop but now I look at it I think I prefer it over the polished finish, just blends better.

Well thanks to Shack, got my first tune and it makes it very nice, boosting well but have now blown pipes off 3 times, so now all pipes back on and went hard on the tightening.
Had made a mistake with the boost controller incorrectly plumbed and now corrected (thanks again to Shack!). The loud noise I had attributed to the lack of console, well the boost controller was the issue, now noise is normal. Am hitting what feels and sounds like over boost and a fluttering wastegate at around 28psi at 2500 and having seemingly turned the boost controller more than would ever have anticipated, getting better but tomorrow will keep turning till it stops,, I hope.
When the hose came off and with not a single tool in the car, the performance was worse than terrible, barely 40k's an hour until a slight down hill and the steep hills before getting home, well lets say was thinking of putting it in low range to make it up.
Hose on and its now driving with the toes rather foot and although it not boosting as quickly / low as I might ultimately like, with the auto I suppose it makes it less of an issue. The extra torque is certainly having a positive effect on the auto with it not revving out to 3000 every change and more sitting around 2500 and changing up, look forward to that TC change even more now as I see that what I was hoping to achieve will be entirely plausible.
Temps did climb today with the tune and the temps outside at mid 30's with the Nanocom showing mad 100 and EWP a couple of degrees higher but was stable there and dropping quickly to under 100 on both displays.
Worse is the fact I have a coolant leak somewhere, its at the front but going over the connections today could not seem to find it. Will have to pressure test it and see where but this may be tomorrow or Boxing day, sure now believe the difference of leachability of the OAT, we did pressure test when we refilled it with water but didn't find a leak then.
