Wasnt there some talk of a td6?
There was. I'm just not overly satisfied that I'd ever be happy with how it integrates with the D2 electronics. It would work but it would be messy. Besides, I wasn't going to do that until I've explored all the Td5 has to offer. Time will tell I guess. [emoji4]
And lurve that green (on the Disco)!
Muppet - And if you keep talking to Jose at TD5Inside, you'll be going for a few years yet.
I agree the D2/2a is in many ways the best of two worlds.
I have a delightful map from Pete Bell at BAS, next step will be the HDTC and VNT, perhaps. I might sell it to my old man and buy a Defender and stick a Td6 in that.
I dunno.
I'm spoilt for choice :D
In the last week I have fitted new tyres. Went up from the original 235/75R16 to 265/70R16 in the Hankook Dynapro AT. Haven't been of road yet but very happy with on road performance both wet and dry.
I also fitted a set of KRFR06 Kings springs to the front and adjusted the rear airbags to suit. The car still had original springs in the front and with the bar and winch it was sitting at 450 one side and 460 the other. This is the way it was when I purchased it. The front is now sitting at 510 LHS and 515 RHS. Very Happy with the result. The only negative is that now I can't fit the original spare wheel cover.

Today I manufactured my own EGT delete and fitted it. Unsure if the car has any more power but definitely feels smoother.

Serviced the old girl - new filters and oils. Also serviced the auto. Fitted some new to me second hand wool seat covers :D flasher than a rat with a gold tooth ;)
That's not the problem, I loosened the bumper bolts and lowered the bumper on the slotted holes to allow the tyre to clear.
I have one of those carbon look covers with steel surround. Now it is not long enough to go around the new tyre. I need a vinyl tyre cover now.
