Agreed. When I bought mine the dealer turned off the alarm & security. For months I drove it using just the key.

The highs and the lows of D2 ownership today. Takes us up into the Mackay hinterland for some great scenery and then decides that the Auto cooler line we just fixed isn't good enough. ATF everywhere! Still, she limped back to our home away from home abt 70km and auto temp was stable and no misbehaving from the box. Back in tomorrow morning for another go at fixing this issue. For every little issue that pops up my confidence in being able to fix grows, but the missus of course sees it the other way around.

I replaced the Battery terminals because I needed a better connection for my winch lead and the factory clamps are pretty "Ordinary" anyway.
No big effort Just hacksaw the old claps off and crimp the new Ring crimps on then fit them onto the new battery terminals
